Gaillardia 'Fanfare'
Upward-facing, orange-red flowers flare out like trumpets with bright yellow

From mid summer into fall this plant produces a seemingly never ending
supply of yellow, semi-double flowers. The 3" flowers are on long stems good

Hibiscus 'Luna Red'
Compact, 2-3ft. medium-sized bushy mound of dark
green leaves. Huge saucer-shaped flowers appear in mid summer and continue
until frost. This selection has blooms of rich solid red. Plants prefer

Monarda or Bee Balm 'Jacob Cline'
Very large, bright red florets appear in tight clusters atop stocky, square
stems from midsummer to fall. This variety is one of the most mildew
resistant. Monarda is native to eastern North America, so it is easy to grow

Rudbekia Indian Summer
Enormous single and semi-double golden blooms 6-9in across on vigorous,
uniform plants. 3-3 1/2ft. May be short lived in our area but worth
the effort. Allow to set seed in the fall. |

Sedum 'Autumn Joy'
Hardy upright selection sports light green leaves and deep rose flowers
which age to a beautiful bronze. Can be substituted for shrubs
in the landscape. Stout, sturdy stems support the massive flower heads which
develop in summer and burst into bloom in fall. If left standing, they
provide winter interest and food for birds. |
